When the MSH team arrives at the manufacturing facility we often discover unused metal, no safety markings, and employees wear personal clothing. Our team fixes this by hiring cleaning teams, striping lines on the facility floors, hiring a recurring uniform delivery service, and installing tall racks to make better use of floor space. We conduct an extensive office renovation, including the addition of a conference room, new office spaces, and a modern lobby. This transformation makes both the acquiring company team and MSH proud and infused with a new energy.

2. Measure

The next step in our process is digitization and analyzing the use of technology, such as bookkeeping and software systems, to improve tracking and predictability. The software generates key KPIs, which are information we use to measure and improve performance. We develop SOPs and then feed information to employees so they can measure and improve their performance. This helps improve the cash conversion cycle and enables more options for the reinvestment of profits.

3. Manage

This step involves cultivating “predictability” into revenue streams. To facilitate this mission, we implement a combination of modern sales tracking software and email campaigning tools to help track growth, customer acquisition rates, and customer retention. Using these tools enables us to track sales, understand win rates, and forecast the percentage of backlog that was likely to convert to sales orders.

4. Grow

We also utilize a cross-selling approach that focuses on selling various services guided by a singular sales effort. This enables us to sell multiple services within a single project and offer more competitive and diversified service offerings. Many sellers have not diversified their service offerings, and by bundling operations together, we reduce concentrations and improve revenue predictability.

Additionally, MSH leverages its own established sales team, email list, and custom CRM to drive sales growth after acquisitions. MSH also manages and builds marketing campaigns for all operations. This includes designing and managing brand presence, social media channels, SEO, event marketing, and more.
